Brand new

I have had my eye at the challenges over at creativeinspirationblog.com for a while now but have never had a chance to do one. So I decided this week to give one a shot. I joined in on the Copycat Challenge #50. And here's is what I came up with.

I used the gorgeous new kit Something New by Valorie Wibbens over at The Lilypad.

Thanks for looking! Now I've got laundry calling my name.

Peppermint has raided SBG!

Hey everybody! It's raining here again today. And it's cold! Looks like winter just can't let us be. But, there is something really cool to tell you about today. Peppermint of One Little Bird is guesting for the month of April at Scrapbookgraphics! And to start things off she has this amazing kit Creator.

And there is an adorable matching alpha too!

All you who have kiddos that play with Lego's are going to love this kit! But it has lots of other goodies in it too so it will fit just about any page you are looking to do.

Here is my page with it.

Enjoy your Monday!

Cinnamon Designs

I want to share some pages I have done with the beautiful designs from Nathy of Cinnamon Designs. She is such a fantastic designer. I am so honored to be part of her team.

These two pages were made with the adorable kit Warmhearted.

This one was made with her most recent kit Tweetie Pie. I just love all the bright colors.

This layout was created using Zen Garden.

Thanks for taking a look!

March Lilypad challenges

I thought I would share what I have been doing this month over at the Lilypad. They have really great challenges every month, so stop on by and join the fun. Here are some of the pages I got done:

This one was for the inspiration challenge. Are challenge was to use some lyrics from the song Lullaby by the Dixie Chicks. I really like how it turned out. This is one of my most favorite pictures of the boys and I am glad I finally got to make a layout with it that I really love.

I did this page for the product challenge. We were challenged to use stitches in a creative way. Too fun!

This page I did for the BYOC challenge. We had to take a older layout and give it a fresh new look using March's BYOC prouducts.

Here is the page I redid:

And here is my new one. Much better don't you think?

I did this layout for the Scrappin with the oldies challenge. I LOVE how it turned out!

This one was for the scraplift challenge. This month we were lifting pages from the gallery of Emily Merritt. I chose this awesome layout to lift.

And this is my page.

I did this layout for the template challenge. We were using an awesome template by Amy Martin that you can find here.

This one was for the formula challenge. I have been wanting to scrap these pictures for a long time. I think it turned out great.

And last but not least, the journaling challenge. In this one we had to give ourselves a grade or report card on something.

As always, the pages are linked for credits. Thanks for looking!

New CT's, new pages, and a new commitment!

I have decided that I really want to be a good blogger. I always sort of thought 'No one reads this sucker anyway, so why bother'. But I have decided that doesn't matter. I would like a place to keep a record of my scrapping journey, even if I am the only one who reads it. Soooo, here we go.

Lots of big news! I have recently joined two new CT's!! I am thrilled to be joining One Little Bird Designs at Catscrap and Joyce Paul Designs at MScraps. Two spectacular designers that I am so proud to join. Here are a two pages that I have made with their amazing designs: (the images are linked for credits)

With Joyce's new kit Mumbai Lullaby

And this page I did for this week's Hodge Podge art challenge, 'Where do you come from?' I used the kit Tranquil by One Little Bird and Leora Sanford
